~My Review~

*Provided with a copy from NetGalley, for an honest review*

Erica Kiefer, wrote Lingering Echoes beautifully. I say that because this book had everything that I was looking for in an NA book. You have mystery, romance (the hot guy of course), comedy. After a while you forget that you are reading a book, because it’s like you are actually in Allie’s head, looking through her eyes. She hurts you hurt, she laughs, you laugh etc. Allie, is going off to college at the end of the summer, but before she leaves she spends a couple of months at her dad’s cabin at Hidden Pines with her “new family”. A year before, something life changing for Allie happens at Hidden Pines that she is reluctant to talk about. She keeps to herself mostly, doesn’t really let people in. Until she meets the mysterious Damien.

Damien is the hot older guy (okay, not that much older). He drives a motorcycle and just happens to be there when Allie is in trouble. The whole time, I kept asking myself who is he? What’s his story? Just like Allie, Damien went through a horrific incident that is now haunting him. Even though Allie doesn’t trust people, Damien is always a step ahead of her, always there when she is falling. He wants to help to heal Allie, but during the process, Allie helps to heal Damien.

This book will have you on the edge of your seat, craving for more. You NEED to know what happens. The last 40% of the book will keep you on your toes! I swear, I was sitting down but I couldn’t sit down. I paced back and forth reading. Erica Kiefer, is one author that you need to keep an eye out for. Bravo on an awesome book!

~I give it~
